working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in
Washington, Washington DC, 20037! Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Tele Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of
2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience and 2 years of RN experience
required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse
in the state/district required Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS
required; BSN highly desired Must-Have: Cerner experience required;
graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
Description: Fulfills the needs of the patients, families, and
community by performing a variety of patient care functions and
tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and
regulatory requirements. Delivers care to patients in a competent,
capable, caring, and efficient manner. Applies knowledge of growth
and development over the life span necessary to provide
age-appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability to obtain
information and interpret it in terms of the patients' needs.
Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by
these patients. Makes initial assessments and determines
appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by
appropriate documentation. Performs initial and ongoing assessments
on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as
evidenced by appropriate documentation. Completes admission
assessments in the time frame established, according to policy and
