Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Fishersville, Virginia,

Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: Experience
with fast-paced inpatient surgical units Description: Ratios are
1:6. First-timers are accepted. Every other weekend is required.
Local candidates are not accepted. Pending licenses are not
accepted. If one holiday falls within the assignment, expect to
work it. If two holidays fall within the assignment, expect to work
one. If three holidays fall within the assignment, expect to work
two. All requests for time off must be included in submission
covers and assignment confirmation documents. Pediatric surgical
patients aged 12 and above may be accepted depending on the
surgical procedure. This is a fast-paced inpatient surgical unit
requiring previous surgical experience. Block scheduling cannot be
guaranteed, but attempts will be made to group shifts together if
available. Common procedures include general surgery, abdominal
surgery, urological surgery, orthopedic surgery, hysterectomy,
mastectomy, spine surgery, and bariatric surgery. Patient
demographics include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Average
daily census is 18. There are 24 beds in the unit. The unit has
interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory
services, and social services. Wound care and management, as well
as continuous bladder irrigation, are part of the basic skills
required. Travelers must comply with all health requirements,
including fit testing. THC policy is strictly enforced, and medical
marijuana cards are not accepted. Travelers must comply with all
