Registered Nurse (RN) | Surgical Intensive Care Unit Location: Washington, DC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,008 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgical Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required; 4 years preferred License: Must have a valid state license in hand to submit Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 Description: MUST HAVE A VALID STATE LICENSE IN HAND TO SUBMIT. Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. 2 years of experience is required. Auto offer with the ability for manager interview if necessary. Every other weekend and every other holiday are required. Position is in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Patient ratio is 1:2. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend shifts required every other week. No on-call shifts are required. Clinicians will float within the scope to meet facility needs. Scheduling accommodations may be possible to meet unit needs. Local candidates are accepted. Pending licenses are not accepted. Special requirements include trauma level experience and related skills. Additional preferred experience includes charge experience and community hospital experience. Candidates with advanced skills such as ECMO and acute stroke management are preferred. Working with ventilated patients and ICP monitoring is part of the role. Infection prevention and isolation precautions are essential duties. The unit provides interdisciplinary support with various services.
