CPI Blue Card Adult-Specific Competencies CPR 12 months of experience in acute care within the past year Description: General comments about the unit include information on the number of beds and staff. The unit has a capacity of 40 beds and a staff of 46. Types of staff include day shift charge nurses, registered nurses, and mental health technicians. Patient ratios are approximately 1:8. The unit does not utilize specialized equipment. Electronic medical records are managed through Meditech. The typical hiring profile focuses on specific skill sets that are highly recruited. Candidates with additional training in the behavioral health field are preferred. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, kind, and motivated. A strong understanding of mental illness is essential. Dress Code: Scrubs should be turquoise or black. Candidates should refrain from any unacceptable attire.
