Trustaff is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Mechanicsville, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Position Details Neuro Tele RN NO LOCAL CANDIDATES (no candidates within 50-mile radius) MUST pass EKG Exam at Orientation (Study Guide Available in Simplify Library) At least 1-year acute care experience required Confidence with NIHSS skills and Q4 neuro checks required 6 months dedicated neuro experience preferred Must be proficient with lab draws required BLS, NIHSS certs required 36-Hr GTE, 12-Hr Nights, 7p-7a, every other weekend/major holiday required ITO interviews Unit Specific Details 18 Bed Neuro Tele Unit Patient Population: Post CVA, TIA, SCI, TBI and some trauma, Myasthenia Gravis, MS patients as well. Equipment: NG tubes, Tube Feeding (Kangaroo Pumps). Other: Most patients will be on q4 hour neuro checks including NIHSS assessments. Nurses will be required to draw their own labs including peripheral draws. Scrubs: Navy blue, white, or any combination of the two colors.
