Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in facility-based and home-based patient care, is seeking a Quality & Risk Director to guide our quality assurance and risk management initiatives across our network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies, and hospice agencies. This crucial role will oversee the development and implementation of strategies and policies to enhance patient care quality and minimize risks related to patient safety and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping a supportive environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence, ensuring the organization operates within legal, ethical, and accreditor standards. Develop, implement, and monitor effective quality and risk management strategies. Collaborate with department heads and management teams to identify and mitigate risks throughout the organization. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, preparing for audits and external reviews. Lead incident investigation and analysis, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Conduct regular training sessions with staff regarding new policies, procedures, and compliance updates. Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and quality assurance Excellent leadership and communication skills Proficient in risk management processes and compliance standards Adept at crisis management and organizational problem-solving Ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with company goals Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)
