Associates to find a qualified Wound, Burn & Ostomy PA in
Washington! We are actively seeking a dedicated Wound Care
Physician Assistant to join our client in Washington for a 120-day
assignment starting Mar 2, 2026. This role involves 8-hour shifts,
focusing on comprehensive wound management, including diabetic foot
ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, and pressure ulcers. The Physician
Assistant will perform various procedures such as debridement,
incision and drainage, negative pressure wound therapy, and manage
long-term IV antibiotics, while also identifying candidates for
hyperbaric oxygen therapy and making appropriate specialty
referrals. Responsibilities and Duties Provide specialized wound
care, hyperbaric treatment, and consults for hospital-based wound
care. Manage a variety of wound types including diabetic foot
ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, and pressure ulcers. Address surgical
dehiscence's and open surgical wounds. Perform procedures such as
debridement, incision and drainage, and negative pressure wound
therapy (NPWT). Conduct bone biopsies and apply total contact
casting. Implement compression wrapping techniques. Manage
long-term IV antibiotics for the treatment of osteomyelitis.
Identify candidates for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) and
supervise HBO treatments. Order and interpret diagnostic tests
including ABIs, TCOM, vascular ultrasounds, and x-rays. Make
appropriate referrals to specialties such as vascular surgery,
general surgery, podiatry, and orthotics/prosthetics specialists.
Manage patient volumes of 10-18, with occasional additional HBO
patients and inpatient/ER consults. Additional Information Board
