Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Fishersville, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,942 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Fishersville, Virginia, 22939! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: No pending licenses accepted Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Must work every other weekend - Previous surgical experience required - Experience with pediatric surgical patients aged 12 and above preferred Description: This position is for a fast-paced inpatient surgical unit. Candidates must have previous surgical experience. The unit handles cases including general surgery, abdominal surgery, urological surgery, orthopedic surgery, hysterectomy, mastectomy, spine surgery, and bariatric surgery. Staff will not be guaranteed block scheduling but efforts will be made to group shifts together if possible. The patient ratio during shifts will be 6 patients per nurse. The unit supports interdisciplinary services including physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. Candidates must comply with a zero-tolerance policy for THC, and medical marijuana cards will not be accepted. Fit testing is required for all staff members, with specific guidelines for facial hair.
