Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Washington, DC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,128 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 9 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Washington, Washington DC, 20032! Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 2 Years of RN Experience, 1 Year of Med Tele Acute Care Inpatient Experience, 2 Years of Cerner Experience License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Graduation from an accredited or NLN-approved RN program, BSN highly desired Description: Must live 50 miles away. 3 x 12-hour night shifts required. Must be able to complete a telemetry rhythm interpretation test prior to start. Fulfills the needs of patients and families by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner. Applies knowledge of growth and development over the life span necessary to provide age-appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs. Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by patients. Makes initial assessments and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. Performs initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
