Urologic Surgeon Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a fellowship trained urologic surgeon who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. The position is in Rockville Maryland. About Us Adventist HealthCare offers the full spectrum of oncology treatment. The Shady Grove Adventist Aquilino Cancer Center is the first community-based, free-standing, comprehensive cancer center in Montgomery County. The center is located on Adventist HealthCare's Rockville campus. The Aquilino Cancer Center is accredited by The American College of Radiology (ACR). Qualified candidates will possess: - Degree of Doctor of Medicine or osteopathy - American Board of Urology certified or Board-Eligible (within 4 years of completing residency) - An interest in oncology a plus - Candidates must have completed an Accredited Urology residency program - Active license, CDS and DEA in Maryland Work Requirements - Candidate is required to share call schedule. - Qualified candidate will diagnose and treat the following but not limited to: - General Urology - Kidney and Bladder stones - Urinary incontinence - Testicular, Prostrate and Genitourinary Cancers - Document and review patient’s history. - Provide Urology consultation to physicians and other health care professionals - Refer patients to specialist when needed - Direct the work of nurses, residents, or other staff to provide patient care - Treat urologic disorders using alternative or traditional surgery - Prescribe or administer antibiotics, to treat infection or injury Financial package and benefits: competitive salary and bonus - Medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability insurances, flexible spending accounts - Paid time off - Funds and designated time off for continuing medical education - Retirement savings plan with matching - Professional fees toward license, DEA, journals, societies As a faith-based organization, with over a century of caring for the communities in the Maryland area, Adventist HealthCare has earned a reputation for high quality, compassionate care.
