RN Job Details - Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract -
Location: Clinton, Maryland 20735 (Greater Washington, D.C. area) -
Start Date: December 1, 2025 - End Date: March 2, 2026 - Duration:
13 weeks - Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) -
Hours per Week: 36 - Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,590–$1,710 -
Unit: 3 West – Medical Surgical Telemetry (30 beds, 14 rooms) -
Patient Ratio: 1:6 - Scrub Color: Ceil blue (not provided) -
Charting System: Cerner EMR - Flu Vaccine: Required (no exemptions)
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required - Weekend Requirement: Every other
weekend (6 per 6-week schedule) - Holiday Requirement: Every other
holiday as needed - Floating: Required within units of equivalent
or lower acuity Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active Registered
Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or compact state (required for
Maryland healthcare jobs) - Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg
Telemetry nursing experience - Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic charting system - Ventilator
management experience required - Strong clinical skills in cardiac
telemetry, cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, phlebotomy, 12-lead EKG,
emergency response, and wound care - Ability to interpret arterial
blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias - Previous charge nurse
experience preferred - Two (2) supervisor references required -
Comfortable caring for adult and geriatric patients - Flu vaccine
required (no exemptions) - First-time travel nurses welcome
Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities - Provide safe, compassionate,
and evidence-based nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
with medical, surgical, cardiac, and complex diagnoses - Monitor
and interpret cardiac telemetry; respond promptly to emergencies -
Manage ventilator-dependent patients and perform tracheostomy care
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products as
ordered - Perform wound care, manage central and peripheral lines,
and document accurately in Cerner EMR - Collaborate with
interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy,
respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services - Float to units
of equivalent or lower acuity as needed - Participate in rapid
response and code teams; follow isolation precautions - Support
patients and families through education and discharge planning
