Job Description Facility near Harrisburg, PA seeking CRNA locums coverageRates: 265/hr Specialty: Anesthesiology Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Start Date: September 1, 2023 Assignment Duration: Ongoing (Full-Time or Part-Time)Position Overview:Facility is seeking CRNAs to join their team, offering flexible scheduling options with a requirement of at least 72 hours per month. This position involves supporting elective surgical schedules across several locations, including the main OR, surgery center, and Labor & Delivery (L&D). The role is ideal for CRNAs looking to work in a dynamic, rotating environment with a strong focus on elective and emergent procedures.Responsibilities: - Schedule: - Shift options: 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM (highest need), 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM, or 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM. - Minimum commitment: 72 hours per month or 6 (12-hour shifts), 7 (10-hour shifts), or 9 (8-hour shifts). - Estimated Shifts/Month: 40. - Typical Day: - Primary Support: 80% in the main OR, 15% in the surgery center, and 5% in L&D. - Support for elective surgical schedules and on-call for overflow and emergent procedures. - Cases include a mix of outpatient and inpatient procedures, ICU intubations, and medically directed C-sections. - Case Load: - Adult Patients: 90%. - Pediatric Patients: 10%. - Typical Cases: Bread-and-butter cases, outpatient surgery, ICU intubations, and C-sections. - Procedures: Spinals, airway management, monitored anesthesia care (MAC), and general anesthesia (GA). - Case Volume: 25 cases per day, 90% outpatient during the day, and 10% inpatient. Qualifications: - Certification: Board Certified CRNA, ACLS, BLS, CPR, PALS. - Licensing: Must hold a Pennsylvania State License. - Experience: Obstetrics experience is preferred, but candidates with varying levels of experience are welcome to apply. - Availability: Must be available for a minimum of 72 hours per month.
