Job Description HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatric PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Baltimore, Maryland. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pediatric PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 06/30/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Title: RN - PCU Location: Baltimore, MD 21215 Duration: 13 weeks Description: Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and care for patients with complex medical needs, often involving cardiac, respiratory, or post-surgical care. - Interpret cardiac telemetry and recognize early signs of deterioration. - Administer medications, IV drips, and other therapies as ordered. - Perform head-to-toe assessments and communicate changes in condition to physicians promptly. - Maintain detailed and accurate documentation using electronic medical records (EMR). - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to plan and coordinate patient care. - Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and recovery expectations. Qualifications: - Active RN license - Minimum 1–2 years of recent PCU or Step-Down experience required.
