Will be required to cover maternity leave full time (40 hours) May 2025- September 2025.
Primary Duties:

• Conducts -assessments for patients to -establish -diet and food guidelines.
• Develop and implement an individualized plan for medical nutrition therapy -in accordance with -patients -medical needs, -goals -and -objectives.
• Assigned Critical Care Units and General Medicine Floors. Must be flexible to cross-train to Neonatal ICU and Pediatric ICU. -Work closely with -Food -Service team to assure conformance to diet prescriptions. -
• Performs at least one annual formal professional presentation in the area of specialty to medical or allied health professionals. Qualifications:
• Master's degree M.S. degree in food and nutrition with approved training from the American Dietetic Association -required.
• 5-7 years Progressive clinical nutrition experience -required -OR -3-4 years Clinical nutrition experience -along with -CDE - Certified Diabetes Educator Certification -or -CNSD - Certified Nutrition Support Dietitian/Clinician -required.
• Licensed in District of Columbia -required or eligible to apply for DC licensure -required. -
