General Summary of Position
Unit Highlights Plastic Surgery& Limb Salvage Unit (5 Bles) Our 16-bed Plastic Surgery and Limb Salvage unit, with all-private rooms and the ability to offer continuous pulse oximetry, provides exceptional post-operative care for patients undergoing complex procedures. Common surgical procedures involve reconstructive plastic surgery, diabetic limb salvage including reconstructive flaps, complex wound management, and surgical wound care. This team is notable for its collaborative, interdisciplinary approach. Our nurses also work closely with an exceptional Nurse Practitioner team on this service, who assist to create a strong standard in patient care and facilitate a communication pathway among the physicians, physical therapists and clinical pharmacists. Key Responsibilities As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses. Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred. Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required. This position has a hiring range of $38.00 - $63.30
