Responsibilities

Hospital's Medical-Surgical Rehabilitation Department is seeking a
Neurologic / Critical Care Clinical Specialist to join our acute
care rehab team full-time. - GW Hospital is a 385 bed Level 1
Trauma Center, Academic Medical Center, and Comprehensive Stroke
Center located in the heart of Washington, DC. - GW offers clinical
expertise and world-class care in a variety of areas including
cardiac, cancer, neuroscience, critical care, trauma, women's
health, organ and tissue transplant, and advanced surgical
techniques. Our medical-surgical rehabilitation professionals work
in every area of the hospital providing consultation, evaluation,
treatment, and education services to patients, families, and other
caregivers in order to improve patient function, outcomes, and
discharge. - - -POSITION SUMMARY -
Qualifications
Education/Qualification -Bachelor's in Physical Therapy,
Occupational Therapy or Speech Language Pathology required
-Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or
Speech Language Pathology required -5 year's experience in practice
area of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Language
Pathology and/or specialty certification -Skills -Effective
communication skills, both verbal and written -Effective
interpersonal skills -Ability to maintain confidentiality -Ability
