Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Intermediate Care position in Oxon Hill, Maryland, with Inova Health System.

  The Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) is a 20-bed acute care unit that provides transition-level care to patients who require a high degree of support and monitoring. Our nurses are driven and provide knowledgeable and caring patient care while maintaining a positive and supportive work environment.

  • Entirely private patient care rooms
    
  • 1:3/4 nurse to patient ratios for both day and night shift
    
  • Assignments based on patient acuity and staff skill level
    
  • Team approach with management team consisting of clinical director, unit supervisors, and clinical educators and mentors

    Requirements
    
    • 
      
    • Minimum of 1-year Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting
      
    • BSN from an accredited school of nursing
      
    • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
      
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start
      
    • Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills
      
    • Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others
