Wisestaff, LLC is currently searching for Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians for a fantastic opportunity at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, located in Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Physicians who prefer to live in DC or surrounding MD/VA areas enjoy a short commute.

There are 50,000 annual visits with 80 hours of physician coverage each day and triple coverage during peak volumes. Most specialists provide call coverage and are easily accessible. Template charting is an added convenience.

The patient population includes mostly adult active duty with some Peds, limited OB/Geriatrics, and very rare Trauma. Scheduling is flexible and physicians may choose to work full-time or part-time.

Physicians can chose from an employee or independent contractor status and earn an excellent hourly rate with malpractice/ tail coverage included.

EM residency trained is a plus, but is not required. MUST be board certified in Emergency Medicine and have a VA state license.

In September 2011 a brand new hospital opened with a state of the art emergency department.
