Job Description:
We are looking for a Part-Time Dental Hygienist in our Dental
Care of McLean office located at 6711 Whittier Ave. Suite 201
McLean, Virginia 22101 to join our awesome clinical team by
providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while
operating in a team-based environment. This person will handle a
variety of clinical duties for dental office operations including
cleaning teeth and examining oral areas, head, and neck for signs
of oral disease. They also may educate patients on oral hygiene,
take and develop x rays, or apply fluoride or sealants. All aspects
of the job require an exceptional level of customer service and
communication skills. Schedule: Wednesday and Thursday 8A-5P (Lunch
12P-1P) Patients: 8 patients per day Pay: $60-$63/hour Skills:
X-Ray required and Local Anesthesia preferred.Duties:- Conduct
patient screenings, including medical history and dental charting-
Perform thorough cleanings by removing calculus, stains, and plaque
from above and below the gum line- Administer fluoride treatments
and apply protective sealants- Offer nutritional counseling and
educate patients on self-care practices to prevent dental diseases-
Collaborate closely with our clinical team to ensure the highest
level of patient care- Adhere to aseptic techniques, infection
control protocols, and HIPAA regulationsRequirements:- Active
Dental Hygiene license in the state of Virginia- Strong
understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control
practices- Excellent patient assessment skills
Job Type: Part-timePay: $60.00 - $63.00 per hourExpected hours: 16
per weekSchedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday No
weekends
