Individuals in this role need to be detail oriented, have strong interpersonal skills, be competent in medical best practices and maintain a high level of confidentiality.We have an opening for a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN who provides exceptional support to providers and team to ensure andestablish a seamless flow between examination and treatment established. Employees in this role are the liaison between patients and medical providers.Work Schedule: Must be able to work three 12-hour shifts per week with a rotation on weekends and some holidays.CMA positions may require travel to multiple clinic centers across the defined region to support critical shifts. Access to reliable transportation is required. Experience:Strong customer service and problem-solving / communication skills.Basic computer skills and knowledge of EMR system.Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.Perform clinical intake including obtaining patients medical history, current medications, chief complaint, obtain vital signs and records information within EMR system.Administer medications, dress/bandage wounds, draw blood and assist provider with any procedures in/out of exam room.Perform diagnostic tests including eye exams, electrocardiograph, audiogram, peak flow, and other basic nursing functions.Perform both DOT and Non-DOT urine drug screens, using proper chain of custody; ensure preparation for pick-up and shipment to appropriate laboratory.
