Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will have experience in ICU, airway management, and administering injections. Experience with Athenahealth, medical office standards, and primary care is highly desirable. Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking a part time experienced ICU Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit.This is a full-time night shift position (2 x 12-hour shifts/week).Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU setting- Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report changes to the healthcare team- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians- Perform airway management procedures as needed- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and post-discharge careQualifications:- Valid RN license and BLS certification- Previous experience in an ICU setting is required- Proficiency in airway management techniques- Ability to administer injections accurately and safely- Familiarity with Athenahealth software is a plus- Knowledge of medical office standards and primary care practices- Experience working with behavioral health or occupational health patients is beneficial- Comfort working with children in a healthcare settingJoin our team of dedicated healthcare professionals and make a difference in the lives of our patients.
