• Employment Type: Per DiemPRNAll Inova Cardiac Rehab programs are certified and align with AACVPR guidelines and practice initiatives. Candidates should be comfortable working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of nurses, exercise physiologists, registered dietitians and behavioral health providers. Our cardiac rehab programs are active environments and require standing/movement and some lifting throughout the day. Preferred Schedule: Tues & Fri with flexibility to work Wed & Thurs as needed.Additional requirements:Recent nursing practice experience or prior medical office experience preferred.Minimum of 6 months of RN experience required; Prefer 1+ year of RN experienceAs a Registered Nurse, you will provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patients, families, nurses and healthcare delivery teams. If Associates Degree RN, within 6 months of start date meet with nurse leader:- Identify which Accredited School the employee plans to attend- Submit a review of transcript from the school indicating the required pre-requisites and timeline for taking the courses- Provide a written plan with anticipated BSN completion date- Complete BSN within 24 months of start date- BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification (American Heart Association) required- RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN- Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills- Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others- Proficient computer skills requiredAdditional requirements:Recent nursing practice experience or prior medical office experience preferred.Minimum of 6 months of RN experience required; Prefer 1+ year of RN experienceInova Job ID #648928.
