Job Description:

Under supervision, provides language translation services to patients, their families and staff for an array of medical documents including, but not limited to, patient education materials, hospital forms, patient letters, medical consents, medical records, etc.Minimum EducationBachelor's Degree (Required)Minimum Work Experience3 years Experience as a translator. (Required)Required Skills/KnowledgeBilingual capability and certified in Spanish Language TranslationRequired Licenses and Certifications Spanish A T A Certification (Required)Functional AccountabilitiesEliminates Language Barriers to Patient CareFacilitates written communication among patients, families, and staff. Converts concepts in the source language to equivalent concepts in the target language. Relays the style and tone of the original language. Renders written message accurately, quickly and clearly . Speak, read and write fluently in at least two language, including English and one or more others.
