CONTINGENT upon contract award, client approval, completion of a
favorable background investigation, and the ability to obtain and
maintain a Public Trust / High Risk clearance.Federal Program /
Registered Nurse - Washington D.C. HeadquartersThis position serves
as the Registered Nurse managing an Occupational Health Center
Services to include the care for work-related and non-work-related
illnesses and injuries, response to medical emergencies,
immunizations, travel medication; and a Medical Surveillance
Program, to include nursing assessments utilizing nurse protocols,
preventative and routine health screenings, health risk appraisals,
health education programs and health units. Provide walk-in
services, emergency services, health education programs, and
immunizations where available.. Requirements:Key Responsibilities -
Provide care for work-related and non-work-related illnesses and
injuries, response to medical emergencies, immunizations, travel
medication; - Deliver Medical Surveillance Program, to include
nursing assessments utilizing nurse protocols, preventative and
routine health screenings, health risk appraisals, health education
programs and health units. - Provide walk-in services, emergency
services, health education programs, and immunizations where
available. - Actively assists practitioners with patient care,
physical examinations, and ancillary tests. - Practices specialized
skills in patient assessment such as but not limited to triages,
blood pressure checks, injections, insulin teaching via telephonic
and direct contact with patient to facilitate care transition
internally as well as externally meet the patients' need. - Triages
unscheduled patients requesting care the same day by identifying
acute patient needs and mobilizing a care team for optimal patient
outcomes. - Acts as point person by coordinating daily huddles,
identifying high acuity patients, and identifying patients at risk
for uncoordinated care. - Provides patient and family health
education with a focus on self-management, prevention, and
wellness, based on the patient's total health goals. This may
include patient teaching, preparing education materials and
providing individual management of patients needing extra support,
including those with chronic conditions. - Maintains
confidentiality of patient data and information. - Complies with
all client and company training requirements. - Assists
administrator in maintaining professional and educational
competencies of staff. - Leads regular Nurse staff meetings and
acts as mentor and resource to nursing staff. - Must provide
excellent customer service to each patient, both in person and over
the phone, as well as to fellow colleagues and clinic visitors. -
Establish and maintain a warm, welcoming, and professional
atmosphere for our colleagues and patients, ensuring needs and
expectations are consistently met. - Collaborates with Clinic
leadership to resolve patient concerns or complaints. - Embrace and
support new initiatives, whether clinical or operational. - The

Must have an Associate or Bachelor's degree from an Accredited
Registered Nursing Program - Must have minimum of 5 years of
experience as a registered nurse in a clinic environment. - Must
have an unrestricted nursing license in a state, territory, or
Commonwealth of the U.S. - Must have BLS (Basic Life Support) or
CPR III certification - Must have Government healthcare environment
experience. - Experience of and insight into the Clinical
environment to be able to drive major improvement programs. -
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills. - Experience
with MS Office - Ability to support all aspects of the project
including planning tasks, monitoring progress, and identifying
potential issues. - Experience in an Adult Outpatient, Inpatient,
Ambulatory and/or Emergency Department preferred - Ability to adapt
to fast-moving environments and changing requirements. - Public
Trust clearance preferred.Clearance Requirement: Public Trust /
High RiskAs this position is categorized as Public Trust / High
Risk position, candidates will be subject to appropriate Background
Investigation.Job Location: Washington D.C.As this position will be
located at a federal government site, candidate must be residing in
the greater Washington D.C. Metropolitan area. Remote work for this
position is not available.Travel:No international travel is
required. Limited domestic travel as required (less than 10%
travel).Relocation Eligibility:No, this position is not eligible
