Job DescriptionWe are looking for a full-time Community Health Educator 2 to provide HIV education and rapid HIV testing in local jails, and partner with jail staff to provide pre-release case management to inmates living with HIV.The Educator will work with staff at Prince William, Fairfax, Alexandria, Arlington, and Loudoun jails to coordinate these efforts and with Inova Juniper staff to facilitate linkage, engagement, and retention in care.The Educator will also support the Juniper Education Team with logistical and programmatic tasks. The successful candidate must be organized and punctual, with the great attention to detail needed to manage caseloads, data tracking, and reporting. The Educator must also possess the communications skills needed to teach, liaise with staff, and counsel clients.The Inova Juniper Program is Northern Virginia's largest provider of HIV/AIDS care. We offer all aspects of primary medical care and mental health, substance abuse, and case management services to HIV positive individuals.
