Government Meetings Planner, LeadKey Role:Envision, imagine, and
execute small and large-scale government meetings and events for a
cutting-edge research and development agency. Coordinate across a
diverse multi-disciplinary group that may have different needs with
respect to event and meeting planning. Accountable for events and
meetings budgets and successfully managing both a team and the
logistical and financial aspects of all events. Coordinate internal
and external communications and facilitate all site selection,
contract negotiation, rooming, food and beverage, registration,
audio-visual, budget reporting, and expense reconciliation. Apply
leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts. Contribute to the
development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually
complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate
with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Mentor
or supervise employees in both firm and technical
competencies.Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience with meeting planning
- Experience with leading people or a team
- Ability to communicate well with all levels of management,
including executive leadership
- Ability to demonstrate analytical expertise at the strategic or
operational level
- Knowledge of video and audio-conferencing equipment
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Bachelor's degreeAdditional Qualifications:
- Experience with Cvent event management platform
- Knowledge of federal government meeting planning in
particular
- Ability to coordinate multiple events concurrently
- Ability to multi-task and pay strict attention to details
- Possession of excellent client service delivery skills
- Certified Government Meeting Professional

various factors, including but not limited to location, the
individual's particular combination of education, knowledge,
skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific
affordability and organizational requirements. The projected
compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00
(annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical
salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz
Allen's total compensation package for employees.Work ModelOur
