Job Description:

AECOM is seeking an experienced, strategic Vice President, Talent Acquisition for the Management Services Group business group to inspire and lead our talent acquisition strategy. In this role this leader will partner with executive management and senior leadership teams where he/she will provide subject matter expertise on recruiting best practices as well as regular updates on recruiting performance that align with the business objectives. This position reports to the Sr. Vice President of Human Resources and will be located in Germantown, Maryland. Responsibilities: * Create a strong business partnership with internal clients and as necessary external individual or organizational resources. * Partner with business management to determine workforce planning, recruitment and talent development strategies with a focus on high quality, cost effectiveness and timely execution. * Develop, implement, and manage effective sourcing and recruitment strategies to ensure a robust pool of qualified candidates. Also, develop and oversee approaches for identifying and placing internal candidates. * Assess talent development requirements and implement strategies to meet business requirements. * Prepare and distribute a periodic talent development communication for employees. * Analyze metrics and implement recommendations for continuous improvement in both the talent acquisition and development areas. * Oversee and participates in all employment and talent development activities. * Ensure consistent recruitment and hiring practices are followed. * Oversee the division's use of the recruitment management and onboarding system and associated user training. Also, oversee applicable internal talent development technology resources and systems. * Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested. Minimum Requirements Candidates will possess a Bachelors degree (Masters preferred); 15 years of progressive management and Human Resources experience. Additionally, candidates will have at least three years of experience managing teams (local and virtual). Demonstrated knowledge of best-in-class recruiting practices, brand strategies, systems and tools. Strong collaborator, strategic, forward thinker with hands-on style to deliver practical and effective solutions. HR Certification preferred. Position requires travel.
