We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager who brings both strategic leadership and hands-on coding expertise to guide software engineering and data science efforts supporting enterprise IT modernization projects.
This role is not for task delegators. It's for leaders who can write and review production-level code, evaluate architecture, and lead teams building secure, scalable platforms for large-scale systems. What You'll Do
As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will:

• Lead Agile development teams through sprint planning, retrospectives, and CI/CD
• Design and implement AI/ML models and rules-based automation systems
• Translate functional requirements into technical tasks and manage execution
• Coordinate integration across cloud-native and enterprise IT platforms
• Oversee the work of Software Engineers and Data Scientists with active code review
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and interoperability protocols
• Manage DevSecOps pipelines and secure cloud-based deployments
• Engage directly with GitLab repositories, CI/CD workflows, and code-level debugging
• Promote continuous improvement through technical mentoring and Agile leadership Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a government security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
  • 15+ years of IT project or program management experience, including 5+ years leading technical teams
  • Technical Assessment: All Candidates will be required to take a web-based Assessment to demonstrate Technical Proficiency.
  • Hands-on coding experience with structured data workflows, metadata management, and systems modernization
  • Ability to read, write, and review production-level code (e.g., Python, Java, SQL)
  • Experience managing Agile software development teams across the full SDLC
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and modern DevSecOps toolchains
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills Preferred Qualifications
    • PMP and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
    • Proficiency in Python, Java, and/or JavaScript or similar programming languages
    • Familiarity with clinical data standards such as FHIR, SNOMED CT, or LOINC
    • Experience deploying enterprise platforms in cloud environments (AWS or Azure) What We Offer
