Job SummaryThis Bench position will provide management support to new and existing SSC accounts in K-12 or higher education settings. Travel is required and can include overnights within the region.As Unit Custodial Director, you will be responsible for the overall cleanliness, sanitation, and security of the assigned buildings. You will coordinate all work activities of janitorial personnel, supervise, direct, and develop staff, and ensure customer satisfaction through high standards while maintaining a safe and equitable environment.You will assign duties, inspect work, investigate complaints, and take corrective actions. Ensuring equipment maintenance, managing supplies, training staff, and acting as a liaison between staff and building occupants are key responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate across shifts to ensure task completion.
• Train staff in janitorial methods and equipment operation.
• Manage supplies and equipment for quality service.
• Inspect daily work and ensure task completion.
• Cross-train and develop personnel for multiple roles.
• Conduct weekly staff meetings and inspections.
• Secure buildings after work completion.
• Oversee project completion within budget and timeline.
• Report budget issues.Preferred Qualifications:
  • College degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience in housekeeping or service fields with high customer contact.
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, and commitment to quality and service.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to motivate staff and understand budgeting and P&L concepts.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to operate heavy cleaning equipment.
  • Valid driver's license for safe vehicle operation.
