Join our team and experience what it feels like to be part of an organization that makes a difference.Team OverviewGlobal Investment Operations Services is a core team within GIO of highly skilled and dynamic operational professionals who share a sense of deep personal responsibility for meeting the needs of BlackRock's clients. They service and develop partnerships with key internal clients such as Portfolio Managers, Traders, BlackRock Solutions, iShares, Financial Markets Advisory, and our Institutional Client Business. The team understands internal and external client strategic priorities to align Investment Operations projects and deliverables with stakeholders, proactively engaging to anticipate changing needs.Role Responsibilities

  • Understand clients' key business requirements across securities, derivatives, loans, and liabilities.
  • Monitor implementation progress and communicate strategies to clients, vendors, third parties, and BlackRock partners.
  • Understand client service requirements, collaborate on models, and develop processes.
  • Act as a single point of contact for all Tech and Ops related issues, connecting with the central project management office.
  • Oversee all aspects of projects, including implementation, third-party connectivity, and system improvements, escalating issues as needed.
  • Build and maintain Tech and Ops frameworks integrated into overall projects.
  • Serve as liaison and manage relationships with custodians, clients, and internal partners.
  • Drive, control, and monitor tailored solutions such as payments for client treasury accounts, derivatives, and internal trades.
  • Monitor risks across client workflows and implement controls.
  • Coordinate MaRisk and BAIT compliance, ensuring documentation is in place.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and collaborate with auditors.
  • Establish key performance indicators and client reporting requirements.
  • Manage third-party vendors and service levels.
  • Develop and establish BAU coverage, identify gaps, and train staff as needed.Key Proficiencies
    • Strong communication skills, able to articulate at summary or detailed levels depending on the audience.
    • Knowledge of all asset classes and deep understanding of middle office services.
    • Highly adaptable, able to work in a dynamic environment, think creatively, and connect the dots within BlackRock.
    • Understanding of risk protocols and their impact on client business.
    • Ability to develop deep relationships across Operations, FMA, BRS, and clients.
    • Project management skills for large-scale initiatives, effective communication, and leadership in senior discussions.
    • Curious and eager to learn, ask questions, and develop sustainable solutions.For Wilmington, DE only: the salary range is USD $108,000 to USD $153,000. Employees are also eligible for annual discretionary bonuses and benefits including healthcare, leave, and retirement plans.
