Job DescriptionThe Director of Development (DOD) will be responsible for implementing the Foundations comprehensive development strategy that includes major gifts and legacy gifts in partnership with the Foundation team and local leadership at Asbury Methodist Village. The Director will support the overall Asbury Foundation development plan and yearly goals.Collaborating with other Directors of Development and the Development Operation team, the Director of Development at Asbury Methodist Village will cultivate, solicit, and mobilize Asbury Foundation's network of donors, volunteers, and other stakeholders.Starting Salary: $90,000The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Manages a portfolio of 75-100 donors and prospective donors capable of giving $20,000 or more annually
• Participation donor MOVES management process including identification, qualification, cultivation, face to face solicitation, stewardship, and recognition to expand our relationships with donors
• Supports organization and implementation of special programs and initiatives at the community
• Works with Sr. Director of Development and Executive Vice President to set weekly, monthly goals with measurable ROI
  Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3-5 years proven major gift and bequest soliciting experience or related field
  • Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred
  • Experience in Raiser's Edge database, or similar
