About the Role
As a Regional Director (RD) on the Campus Partnerships team of
WorldStrides Higher Ed, you will serve as a contact for our campus
partners within your assigned region of the U.S. and the initial
point of contact for their students considering education abroad.
The Regional Director, under the strategic guidance of a Team Lead,
works collaboratively with partner education abroad offices and
stakeholders at WorldStrides Higher Ed's (WSHE) partner
universities to recruit and advise students participating in
International Studies Abroad (ISA) and The Education Abroad Network
(TEAN) programs and as well as educate and serve individuals and
units on campus who support those students. These positions will be
based within a territorial region.
Primary Job Responsibilities
An RD's main areas of responsibility includeLead Generation and
Education Abroad Advisor support, all aiming to foster exceptional
service to our partners and achieve growth for ISA, TEAN, and
WorldStrides more broadly
Foster ongoing relationships with study abroad staff, faculty, and
other administrators at partner universities
Develop a comprehensive awareness and understanding of ISA and
TEAN's relationship with each of our U.S.partners, including the
needs, pain points, and priorities of the students, staff, and
facultyabout education abroad
Design and host student-facing activities, faculty meetings, and
other outreach activities.
Champion ISA and TEAN at study abroad events, pre-departure
orientations, and other institutional engagements in your
portfolio
Follow standards of best practices laid out by bodies that support
education abroad.
Develop and implement a strategic plan to increase partner
engagement through the development of collaborative initiatives
that help realize partner objectives and growth for WSHE
Assist with supervising undergraduate student Global Ambassadors in
assigned region
Develop and implement a lead generation plan for each assigned
campus partner.
Maintain detailed records of all activities related to university
partners
Determine with your Team Lead, target aspirational schools with
which WSHE does not presently collaborate, then develop and pursue
a strategic plan to foster these relationships
Report on enrollment, trends, opportunities, and projects to
WorldStrides colleagues and leadership
Travel as necessary to achieve success in all areas above. Local
and regional travel will be approximately 20-26 weeks to campuses,
international education events, and conferences per year
Location
Regional Directors will be based within a geographically assigned
region. The position will be remotely (home) based unless within
commuting distance of a WorldStrides office, in which case the
Regional Director may be expected to work a schedule of
pre-determined days remotely and at the WorldStrides office.

Home Office - US
This is an early career position. The ideal candidate will
possess:
Bachelor's degree
Demonstrated experience in a multicultural setting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and desire to learn new aspects of the
International Education field
1-2 years proven ability to work effectively under minimal
supervision
Willing and able to travel 50%
Other desired qualifications include:
Residence in assigned region
Study Abroad or other international travel experience
Public speaking, networking, relationship building, and working
with a diverse set of professionals
