for the Sales and Business Development Manager position with a

Position Details
Location: Washington DC
Compensation: $70,000+ base, depending on experience. This role is
heavily commission based, expected on target earnings for the first
year are $125,000-$150,000.
Shift: Hybrid work schedule, remote work during the day with some
local travel to clients, ability to
work evenings and some weekends as needed for events, business
meetings, etc.

Position Description
As the Sales and Business Development Manager, you will play a
pivotal role in expanding the restaurant's reach and clientele. You
will be responsible for conducting sales and business calls,
prospecting for new clients, assisting in the development of
marketing plans, contributing to social media strategies, and
making periodic on-site visits to meet with clients, enjoy dinner,
and assist with restaurant operations. Responsibilities will
include:
Sales and Business Calls:
--- Identify and contact potential clients, including corporate
partners, event planners, and high net worth individuals.
--- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing
clients.
--- Understand client needs and tailor proposals to meet their
requirements.
Prospecting and Client Acquisition:
--- Research and identify new business opportunities.
--- Develop and execute strategies to expand the restaurant's
client base.
--- Attend industry events and networking functions to build a
strong client pipeline.
Marketing and Social Media:
--- Develop and execute marketing plans to promote the restaurant's
offerings.
--- Contribute to the creation of engaging and effective social
media strategies to enhance the restaurant's online presence.
On-Site Client Meetings and Restaurant Operations:
--- Visit the restaurant regularly to meet with clients and ensure
their dining experience meets or exceeds their expectations.
--- Liaise with the restaurant's management team to provide support
and ensure seamless Service.
Position Requirements
--- Bachelor's degree.
--- Proven experience in sales, business development, or related
roles, in the hospitality or a related industry preferred.
--- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
--- Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
--- Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies.
--- A passion for fine dining and an understanding of the luxury
restaurant industry.
--- Flexibility to attend on-site meetings during the evening and
weekends.
