www.leadershipconferenceedfund.org .About the Role:We seek a Senior
Operations Manager, Organizational Policy and Performance to
support implementing and managing organizational policies and
strategic priorities directly. Specifically, the senior manager
will implement effective accountability systems/processes and train
staff on organizational policy. These processes and systems include
contracts management, 501 c3 and 501 c4 reporting requirements, and
administrative policies.Also, the senior manager will provide
leadership and thought partnership on emerging projects or
initiatives aimed to track progress against organizational
priorities and amplify the organization's performance. This work
will be done in close collaboration with People & Culture, Finance,
and other contributing partners across the organization.This Senior
Manager is an individual contributor and will report to the EVP &
Chief Operating Officer (COO). This position is not part of the
collective bargaining unit.What You Will Do:
- Organizational Performance. Manage projects and initiatives to
strengthen organizational effectiveness. The focus of this work
includes assessments of existing policies and procedures and
implementation of strategies, frameworks, and
operational/behavioral norms for managing change, strategic
planning, engaging staff, cultivating institutional knowledge, and
pursuing equity and inclusion in organizational development
strategies.
- Nonprofit Compliance (Federal and State Requirements): Support
the EVP & COO in monitoring and overseeing c3 and c4 compliance
with relevant federal and state laws governing The Leadership
Conference on Civil and Human Rights and The Leadership Conference
Education Fund. This includes drafting, reviewing, advising on
internal policies and procedures, and building accountability
mechanisms to facilitate compliance.
- Staff Training and Guidance: Through a highly collaborative
process, develop and implement a core training curriculum for staff
that establishes foundational knowledge and understanding of our
organizations' work, values, and strategic framework and ensures
compliance when performing our c3 and c4 work.
- Administrative Policy Development and Legal Review: Engage
organizational stakeholders to assess areas for improving
operational systems, policies, and procedures. Work collaboratively
with colleagues to develop, update, or fortify administrative
policies and procedures. Facilitate legal review where
applicable.
- Other duties as assigned.What You Will Bring:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in organizational
management/effectiveness and leading or significantly contributing
to operational improvements and organizational development
initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study or related
field,
- Experience developing and implementing process improvements
and/or building systems to streamline or reengineer processes for
greater efficiency and accountability.
- Proven talent for the development and execution of long-term
planning and strategy.
- Personal stature, credibility, and maturity to earn the trust
and confidence of colleagues, particularly when navigating
problem-solving with dynamic groups, strong interpersonal skills,
and emotional intelligence.
- Strong oral communicator with excellent writing skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with an eye for detail and
follow-through.
- Strong commitment to team building, team leadership, and
fostering a positive organizational culture.
- A demonstrated record of employee engagement and orientation to
collaboration in a matrix environment.What We Offer:The Leadership

account.Salary Range - $92,823 - $113,097, dependent on years of
