Responsibilities
Emergency Department (Trauma Level I ) Overview The nurses in the
Emergency Department of the George Washington University Hospital
(GW Hospital) are Defining Medicine through their capacity to
think, research, discover, evaluate, teach, learn, refine, and
innovate. We are seeking experienced emergency RNs who want to work
in an environment which fosters positive patient outcomes through a
collaborative practice model and evidence-based nursing practice.
The George Washington University Hospital is a Level I Trauma
Teaching Hospital. The hospital seeks applicants with a strong

Nursing Manager job summary (Full Time/Evening - 2 PM till 10 PM)
Responsible for the operational management and strategic planning
of a department or service line that provides care to a specific
patient population. Has 24/7 accountability and responsibility for
assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Qualifications
BSNMS in nursing or Master s degree
in related field preferredActive RN license, DC endorsment
eligibleMinimum 5 years of professional experience that
demonstrates a progressive leadership background in
