and our work. - The Associate IT Product Manager is responsible for
supporting the technology needs of university schools, departments,
and teams, and will guide the success of a product from
requirements through implementation. The Associate Product Manager
will work closely with stakeholders to understand their technology
needs and will communicate requirements and align priorities with
cross-functional teams and vendors for product delivery. Essential
Functions Leads and collaborates with stakeholders and IT
cross-functional teams to develop, launch, and maintain products
(software applications, processes, enhancements, etc.), supported
by the Director, IT Product Management and IT Product Managers.
Facilitates delivery of new product functionality by documenting
requirements and prioritizing initiatives to ensure work focuses on
those with maximum value. Serves as a liaison between schools and
departments, technology teams, vendors, and other support teams.
Communicates effectively with stakeholders to ensure successful
product delivery and customer adoption. Clearly articulates the
business value to the team, so they understand the intent behind
the new product or enhancement. - Coordinates internal and external
resources to meet department and project goals. Maintains
relationships with vendors and partners with them in support of
stakeholder technology needs. Understands what is needed to advance
technology initiatives forward and advocates additional resources
as appropriate to ensure objectives are achieved. Position
Type/Expected Hours of Work Full-Time Exempt Salary Range
Commensurate with experience. Required Education and Experience 2-4
years of relevant experience. Preferred Education and Experience
3-5 years of relevant experience. Additional Eligibility
