5 years Position Summary:
The Director of Program Management is responsible for the Program
Management department. The Director of Program Management must work
closely with the Director of Engineering, Director of
Certification, Executive Vice President and President.
The Director of Program Management is responsible to oversee
program management efforts for all projects. He/She works closely
with the Program Managers, Customers (if required), Sales and
Marketing, Engineering, Certification, Finance, Procurement,
Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance to ensure that the programs
are executed on schedule and within budget.
The Director of Program Management is also responsible for ensuring
the activities of the Program Management Department conform to the
company quality system procedures as documented.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The Director of Program Management's responsibilities include but
are not limited to the following:
--- Implements and maintains Program Management Department tools
and procedures.
--- Reports performance of the Program Management Department.
--- Reports status of individual programs to NAT Management.
--- Ensures the availability of appropriate resources for the
effective operation of the department.
--- Facilitates NAT Management Meetings.
--- Understand and promote all health, safety and environmental
legal and regulatory requirements including company policies and
standards. Lead by example, enforce and sustain a strong minded
safety culture and compliance driven practices in the work
environment.
Director of Program Management reports to the Executive Vice
President. The Director of Program Management also has
responsibility to support all NAT functional groups and
managers.

RequirementsKnowledge/Experience:
The Director of Program Management shall have a BA or BS degree
with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all
levels of management and to manage complex technical programs.
Experience with Earned Value principles a must. Program Management
Certificate (e.g. CAPM or PMP) or equivalent experience
preferred.
Technical Requirements and Experience
MS Project, Excel and Word required. Excellent communication and
organization skills required. Experience in the aerospace industry
and FAA certification required. Some travel required. Five (5)
years of managing complex programs. Understanding of aerospace
Engineering, Certification, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality
Assurance and Contracts preferred.

--- Occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds.
