Job Description:

Dine Source is seeking an experienced Asset Management Specialist with at least four (4) years of experience administering and maintaining asset management functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in delivering Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) as an operational program in IT Operations. - *Position is contingent upon contract award* -

• Perform hardware audits, physical asset verification, and maintain asset custodianship
• Document and maintain process documentation as Configuration Management processes improve/change
• Assist in program-wide configuration management strategy and execution plan
• Participate in audits and physical asset verification within the home site and throughout the WMA
• Establish baseline network document control program/filing/retrieval system and document configuration management processes and procedures
• Provide artifacts as needed to support Certification and Accreditation for systems and services
• Instruct and train other team members and management staff regarding document control and configuration management use and processes
• Aid in maintaining configuration control of the established network
• Provide recommendations and best practices to improve existing CM processes and procedures
• Ensure configuration management program conforms to all required U.S. Government and Department of Defense rules and requirementThe ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • At least four (4) years of experience administering and maintaining asset management functions
  • Strong knowledge of Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) processes and procedures
  • Experience with hardware, software, and license asset management
  • Ability to ensure mapping configurations are correct and accurate
  • Strong documentation skills and experience with process documentation
  • Experience with configuration management of complex hardware, software, and documentation
  • Familiarity with Certification and Accreditation processes and requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to instruct and train team members and management staff
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
