Jefferson Solutions, a well-respected government consulting company of the Jefferson Consulting Group, woman-owned small business, is recruiting senior-level personnel interested in a---Project Director---position residing in the U.S. to oversee -a five-year, $41 million-dollar Institutional Support Contract (ISC) in support of the U.S. Agency for International Development's (USAID) Bureau for Development, Democracy, and Innovation (DDI) Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment Hub (GenDev). -The desired candidates must have senior-level operations/management experience in support of a USAID Institutional Support Contract (ISC).--- Desired candidates have experience with USAID regulations and policies.
Jefferson senior-level Project Directors provide leadership, strategic guidance and oversight for both their staff and programs. They oversee operations and project finances and serve as the key company representative for the project to ensure strong collaboration with subcontractors, the U.S. Government client and other partners. - The Project Director must be an upper-level management official with extensive knowledge of the USAID program and budget cycle and strong knowledge of gender equality programming. - The Project Director must have sufficient understanding of gender in the sectors USAID works to: -

  • closely monitor the technical work, -
  • assure quality control, and -
  • facilitate technical coordination across the technical experts working under this contract. - The Project Director will lead a team of professionals who provide gender technical assistance in the design, planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of projects across all sectors where USAID works to: -
  • oversee day-to-day management of the contract and coordinate the activities and deliverables under this contract; -
  • actively coach and mentor staff under this contract; -
  • ensure compliance with USAID requirements including, but not limited to, ADS 300, reporting, official documentation, and waivers; and -
  • serve as the primary POC for the USAID COR on all matters pertaining to the contract. -Qualified candidate must have: -
  • At least 10 years' experience in management--- -
  • At least a Master's degree in a related field such as management, international development, or public policy -
  • Knowledge of Gender Equality and Women Empowerment programming -
  • Strong organizational, communication, writing and analytical skills to effectively interact with program and contracting officials -
  • Attention to detail, high standards of excellence and commitment to perform and execute all project activities successfully -
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Suites -
