Job Summary The General Manager oversees business development of the sales teams and is responsible for the overall showroom performance, including profit and loss. They develop and manage an entrepreneurial outside sales team, are committed to supporting all efforts of quality, brand awareness and are the educator in the Easy to Do Business With philosophy. Principal Responsibilities but not limited to: Provide leadership in client relationship development, training and program development Communicate showroom performance, profit & loss and compliance to management Team with staff in resolving contract, client, product issues and disputes Assist accounting team in formulation of forecasts and budgets, for showroom and outside sales Liaise with marketing team to develop client, brand focused outreach and events Ensure that best practice is followed in safety, legality and quality of service Provide a high level of customer service, vendor relationship and department partnership Be knowledgeable on all products including how product is made, how it is maintained, how to customizes, etc. Be knowledgeable in Navision, Targit and any updates added to the system Reporting Responsibilities: Navision: Shipped not invoiced for BDN management Booked Invoiced Detailed Report Individual customer sales per year Targit: 100A/B GM Dashboard Monthly/Yearly Snap shot of MTD/YTD 103 Booked by Sell-to Client Sales for Salesperson by product & client 106 Bkd by Sales Assoc & Prod Line Showing struggling lines and sale growth focus for team 110 Territory Code Analysis Used for outside sale team goals and product focus 115 Quote to Order Conversion Rates Used in performance reviews 150 Client Churn Report Used to promote further sales to clients with slow growth 170 Booked MTD-YTD-All Time Product/Line performance 206 Bkd Sales for Items On Display Used for inventory and display to change out slow sellers 356B/357B NST Dashboard Used similar to 100A/B Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience 2 plus years experience in management of showroom/design environment/sales management Ability to multitask Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Some lifting (20-50 lbs max) Who We Hire?
