Job Description:

The Acquisition (Sales) Team is seeking for Senior Software Engineering Managers to join our team. The Acquisition Tech Org encompasses almost every major component of customer engagement and support including all digital engagements for Auto, Cycle, Homeowners, Renters, and more product lines as well has as supporting Agents in their ability to sell new products. As a Senior Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading engineering teams to expand product availability and functionality within our Single Sales Platform (SSP) which includes the ever expanding Bundling capability as well as grow our ability to reach customers outside of the traditional GEICO sales paths with Partner Platform expansion.
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in full stack .NET software development, especially in the areas of: C#, Angular/React/Vuejs, JavaScript/TypeScript, Web API, MVC, proficient with MS SQL Server and No SQL such as Cosmos DB
• 2+ years of experience hands on building and deploying apps (preferably cloud-native) in either Azure or AWS
• 2+ years' experience with automated testing including Unit, Integration, and End-to-End functional testing
• 5+ years of development in a large-scale, mission-critical environment
• Experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum is preferred
• Passionate about software development and reimagining insurance
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and analytical skills is a must
• Looking for extreme ownership, responsibility, and initiative
• Flexibility to balance multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team of software engineers
• Passionate about mentoring and coaching team members
