The Talent Acquisition team is growing and searching for ambitious
candidates to join their everyday mission to hire exceptional
talent. This team is responsible for researching, developing, and
implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to
attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the
organization. You will use trending techniques to effectively
source and pipeline talent. You will develop and maintain our
programs including campus relations, J1 programs and community
outreach programs. You will be instrumental in the success and
growth of Crescent Hotels & Resorts!
This role may require travel up to 20 % of the time.
This position will be considered remote and/or hybrid-model and may
be located in either the US or Canada.
What will you be doing?
The Director, Talent Acquisition & Programs will research, develop,
and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to
attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the
organization. You will use trending techniques to effectively
source and pipeline talent.
-Proactively uses sourcing techniques and targets passive
applicants to build a robust pipeline of talent for all levels of
the organization
-Develops, facilitates, and activates all phases of the recruitment
process for corporate positions
-Leads the creation & activation of Crescent talent acquisition
programming, supporting our employer brand strategy to recruit and
retain top talent
-Monitors recruitment marketing trends and advances our company
efforts using emerging trends
-Develops, facilitates, and activates all phases of the recruitment
process.
-Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft
detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
-Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting
methods and strategies based on the available role, industry
standards, and the needs of the organization.
-Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
-Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
-Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions
and other hiring and selection materials.
-Assist hotels with hard to fill roles, offering support and
guidance in sourcing talent
-Executes sourcing strategies through various online tools,
including but not limited to LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
-Develops and manages the Campus Relations & Recruitment program,
including attending and participating in college job fairs and
recruiting sessions.
-Manages the J1 program, including coordination of legal review of
agreements, communication with our vendors and documentation with
participating hotels.
-Develops and manages a robust community outreach program,
including creation of a toolkit for the field
-Collaborates with our Digital Marketing team to ensure all
employer brand materials are on brand
-Assists with the interview process, coordinating interviews with
managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
-Ensures compliance with federal, state, provincial and local
employment laws and regulations, and company policies. About you:
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
-Relationship builder, risk taker, creative thinker
-Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for
recruitment for a variety of roles.
-Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
-Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet
deadlines.
-Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable
to hiring and recruitment.
-Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking
software or other recruitment systems.
-Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
-Proficient with social media outlets to effectively source talent
and build CRM of talent
Education and Experience:
-Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or
equivalent work experience, required.
-At least 5 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring
process highly preferred.
-Demonstrated progressive experience in talent acquisition
roles
-Previous experience in the hospitality industry essential

This position may require travel up to 20% of the time.
For applicants who will be working in NYC, the anticipated
compensation range for the position is $119,000 - $132,000 per
year; for applicants who will be working in Colorado, the
anticipated compensation range for the position is $105,000 -
$118,000 per year; for applicants who will be working in
Washington, the anticipated compensation range is $112,000 -
$125,000 per year; for applicants who will be working in
California, the anticipated compensation range for the position is
$117,000 - $131,000 per year. The salary offered to a successful
candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but
are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of
experience within the required industry, education, work location,
etc. Crescent Hotels is a multi-state employer and the salary
ranges indicated herein may not reflect positions that work only in
other states.
