Senior Director of Demand Generation, Residential - Washington, DC
CoStar Group is looking for a Head of Demand Generation for its residential marketplaces. This individual will report to the Head of Marketing for Residential and lead digital marketing campaigns that drives consumer traffic and agent leads for Homes.com and Citysnap. To be successful in this role, you will need to see the big picture, define an ambitious plan and goals that align to overall business objectives, and execute daily at the highest level. You'll have the opportunity to come in on the ground floor to establish a disruptive brand that will become a category leader with tremendous reach and awareness.
The role requires a dexterous leader who can see the big picture and develop strategy while also rolling up their sleeves for the day-to-day work required. In this role you will be responsible for our digital marketing strategy and execution including retargeting, paid social, digital audio, email, SMS, programmatic and mobile app promotion. You'll partner closely with our product team that's responsible for SEO and SEM. You'll be working to build out a team and develop the demand generation function while partnering with a range of stakeholders internally and externally including agencies and senior leadership.
HYBRID Environment

  • 4 days onsite / 1 day remote
    • Oversee a multi-million-dollar monthly media budget and forecasting, driving efficient consumer traffic, app downloads and agent leads
    • Lead a group of team members and agency partners to allocate, invest, and optimize the performance media budget across all channels to meet our business targets
    • Utilize data-driven methodology, analysis, and measurement to improve effectiveness and efficiency of our performance channels
    • Work closely with analytics and technology partners to build a world-class performance marketing engine across tracking, attribution, and optimization
    • Partner with Marketing Analytics to oversee campaign management and reporting, including in-depth analytics of LTV, CPA, ROI, and incrementality
    • Oversee strategy and performance to drive the marketing funnel from brand awareness to conversion to retention
    • Innovate and implement test and learn strategies and drive scalable results
    • Develop lead nurture and retargeting strategies
    • Lead QBRs and strategic documents that highlight learnings from our media investments
    • Build and lead a team to assess campaign performance, drive insights, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive business impact through optimization and growth
    • Develop strong relationships with agencies and platform partners. Be aware of new opportunities and products from partners to drive more scale
    • Keep on top of industry trends and best practices
      Basic Qualifications
      • Bachelor's degree
      • 15+ years' experience in acquisition marketing and performance/growth marketing with direct oversight of email, display, retargeting, paid social, and funnel optimization
      • 5+ years building, overseeing, and developing a diverse team responsible for digital marketing
      • Track record of growing marketing investment on a measurable basis at scale; experience managing large budgets and a deep understanding of finance and budgeting
      • Demonstrated ability to work and influence decision makers in a fast-paced and matrixed organization
      • Exceptional problem solving, and analysis skills combined with the ability to synthesize and effectively communicate findings to all levels throughout the organization
      • Strong understanding of digital marketing trends
      • Ability to navigate between the strategic and tactical; can see the big picture and dig in to execute when needed
      • Experience managing agencies and vendors
      • Familiarity with attribution models, expertise in customer segmentation and the use of test and learn strategies to optimize campaigns
      • Highly proficient in the use of third-party analytics, reporting tools, and digital marketing platforms
