The Guest Service Manager with Costuming Operations manages the daily operations of Operational Costume Issue, Entertainment, and/or Character Costuming locations at the Walt Disney World -Resort, leads, and coaches and develops front line Cast with a constant eye toward inclusion, and builds strong relationships with business partners in a fast paced environment. The Costuming Guest Service Manager serves as the front-line leadership point of contact, representing the Costume Operations area to other operations, senior leaders and operational integration teams.This position will report to the Area Manager of Costuming.Responsibilities/You WillResponsibilities include monitoring, analyzing and taking appropriate action on costume inventory quantity, costume show quality, and related expenses affecting annual financial targets using computer software to include SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products) and GUS (Garment Utilization System).In this role, the Guest Service Manager with Costuming raises the bar on Guest Service in this Cast-serving-Cast environment by learning, understanding and teaching others operational business drivers based on the 5 Keys, engaging Cast Members and peers to achieve higher levels of service, and presenting new and innovative ideas to help drive the Costuming organization to new heights.Basic Qualifications/You Will Have

  • Minimum 3 years theatrical, entertainment, costuming and/or related management experience
  • Minimum 1 year leadership experience and/or experience in a role of higher responsibility such as Coordinator, Crew Chief, Lead, Trainer, or the like
  • Proven familiarity with Walt Disney World - collective bargaining agreements
  • Proven proficiency with various software/computer programs the Microsoft Office suite, Sharepoint, Teams
  • Demonstrated strong partnering, coaching, and mentoring skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, influencing abilities, and ability to provide effective feedback
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to initiate, organize and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated ability to share creative and new ideas
  • Demonstrated experience with budgeting and scheduling
  • Passion for delivering great guest service
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends and holidaysPreferred Qualifications
    • Proven experience with Walt Disney World - collective bargaining agreements
    • Demonstrated knowledge of MyTime, EISS, and SAP
    • Previous experience within Entertainment Operations, Attractions, Merchandise, and/or Food and Beverage line of business
