Description

KYM Advisors is seeking an individual to work with a growing team to partner with business and technical leadership to bridge strategy to execution. In this role, you will manage staff to align business data goals, objectives, and requirements with decisions regarding solutions, products, and services. You will manage teams in assessing current state, define future state needs, identify gaps, and recommend new solutions, all around data solutions. You will recognize and formulate business and technology solutions, business processes and make strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for resource capacity planning and assignment of tasks for data management processes and solutions.
Manage and perform full-cycle data management project activities including defining key business objectives, designing the research approach, analyzing data, and presenting findings.
Understand the data environment and perform complex tasks around data management and data analytics.
Identify opportunities for technical process improvements and optimizing efficiencies in the data environment
Establish enterprise data policies and standards for management of data quality, metadata, and data alignment for all lines of businesses across the enterprise
Build strong relationship with Client stakeholders and the leadership team, to establish yourself (and the team) as a trusted and valued partner.
Mentor and guide direct reports and team members.
Provide Corporate and business development support, as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in School of Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related technical or functional discipline.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government suitability clearance.
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience
At least 5 years of experience leading data management projects (e.g., data governance, data standards, data quality)
Previous experience managing multiple projects of teams of 10+ resources
Proven experience in a consulting and/or client-facing environment
Superb oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
Fluency in talking about strategic business problems - you combine a drive for analytical reasoning with a practical understanding of what our clients are trying to achieve
Ability to think strategically, analytically, and proactively about diverse business solutions
Experience with multi-tasking in a fast-paced and fast-growing company

DESIRED
DHS current clearance or active Secret Clearance is strongly desired

PMP Certification
Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
