devices.Position OverviewInterested in an opportunity to support
marketing for a leading services firm in the medical device
industry? MCRA is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Manager
responsible for leading and supporting the coordination and content
response development of marketing campaigns across the
organization's core business units. The Manager, Marketing is a
talented storyteller who will plan, write, edit, and manage content
and marketing programs that effectively communicate and attract
audiences into our marketing funnel and drive brand awareness. The
ideal candidate will possess a high level of creativity, attention
to detail and project management skills, and be hardworking,
efficient, accountable, and excited to be a part of a growing
organization that often requires staff to wear multiple hats.This
position will own marketing across numerous channels (digital,
print, web, etc.) and will write and edit content in all forms
(video scripts, social media posting, emails, web pages, press
releases, graphics, and illustrations, etc.) in support of brand
recognition & awareness and demand generation. The ability to
collaborate cross-functionally with numerous business units and
departments will be critical, as well as the ability to work with
various stakeholders across the company to conceive marketing
plans, define content strategies and objectives, and execute on the
strategies.Position Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of MCRA's business model, value
proposition, key messages, and target audiences
- Create marketing campaign content including graphics, blog
posts or social media posts, press releases, bulletins, digital
content for web pages, etc.
- Build a content and marketing planning process and calendar for
scheduled marketing and posting activities
- Generate content for marketing campaigns consistent with
initiatives to drive traffic, engagement and leads that deliver
sales and retain customers
- Conduct research to analyze competitive landscape, market
trends and customer behavior and prepare reports by collecting,
summarizing, and analyzing data
- Communicate marketing campaign deliverables, objectives and
timelines to the appropriate internal teams while providing
instructions for promotion or use
- Assist with web page development and updating (in collaboration
with our digital/web partners) to improve search engine
optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) initiatives
(including keyword prioritization based on input from key
stakeholders across the business)
- Collaborate with graphic designers, independent consultants,
business development team professionals, and external
entities/influencers/industry experts to produce relevant content
to engage our target audience
- Monitor, track, and document marketing performance, and analyze
data to determine the impact on revenue and create optimization
plans
- Assist in planning and managing trade shows, conferences,
events, and meetings by identifying, coordinating, and assembling
requirements, developing assignments and schedules, coordinating
mailing lists and establishing contacts
- Develop and procure company handouts, giveaway items, swag,
etc.
- Maintaining an inventory and directory of sales support
materials making sure all resources are accurate and current while
coordinating new material creation as needed
- Create response templates and other documents as needed.
- Conduct desk research as requested by supervisors.
- Assist in developing and producing promotional materials to be
used for business development and bid-defense purposes.
- Ensure all work products comply fully with standards, policies,
and mission of MCRA.Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, or a similar
discipline required.
- 4-5+ years of direct experience in marketing, content creation,
or a similar role, preferably at a CRO or in the life sciences
industry
- Experience leading marketing campaigns required
- Exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and content
creation capabilities required
- Experience and ability to multi-task and respond in a
demanding, fast-paced working environment with an eye for
detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction and
proactively anticipate needs; able to problem-solve and exercise
independent judgment and discretion
- Ability to work collaboratively and develop rapport with
multiple stakeholders and departments
- Must be a talented consensus builder and team player with the
ability to engage and influence a multi-functional team
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and quickly
identify new trends and changes specific to the industry.
- Advanced Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Ppt,
Excel), Photoshop, and internet applications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, presentations
skills, and project management capabilities.
- Future supervisory responsibilities:
- Ensure work meets client and company standards.
- Assisting with hiring and training of qualified
candidates.
- Oversee the day-to-day workflow of assigned staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and
