About the Role

As our Compensation Manager you will help oversee MyEyeDr.'s compensation programs, including incentive programs, evaluating jobs and levels, managing our base pay programs, and overseeing merit processes in conjunction with other team members. You will work closely with our internal business partners to assist in developing competitive pay strategies, pricing those plans, and monitoring effectiveness. This role will report to the Director, Compensation and Benefits and can be based in either our Vienna, VA, Raleigh, NC office or Remote.

You Will

  • Assist in designing MyEyeDr.'s job architecture, levels, and pay bands in conjunction with management and HRBPs
  • Maintain the integrity of the job architecture as new positions are created and revised
  • Conduct compensation training for managers and act as a resource for compensation questions
  • Review the effectiveness of incentive programs in driving behavior and provide recommendations
  • Work with our internal partners on market specific incentives as well to attract and retain Optometrists
  • Collaborate with partners across MyEyeDr. to identify emerging compensation trends and strategize solutions
  • Perform financial analyses of new or changing compensation programs
  • Plan and oversee the annual merit cycles in conjunction with the Senior Partner, Compensation
  • Write and launch new compensation policies and procedures as necessary, educating all impacted parties and ensuring compliance
  • Support the evaluation of pay considerations during the acquisition process
  • Work with HRIS to leverage existing technology and keep abreast of new technologies that can support compensation
  • Perform focused strategic projectsYou will come with
    • 7+ years of experience in the analysis, design, and administration of compensation programs
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
    • Highly collaborative and consultative approach to business partnership
    • Experience in job leveling and pay band development
    • Effective experience delivering executive-level briefings and communications
    • Ability to work independently in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment, with all levels of employees in the organization
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a track record for planning, delivering, and auditing work
