Position Summary The Product Manager is responsible for overseeing all activities related to market research, requirements gathering and defining the vision for MHFA curricula and products for the adult, youth and employer markets. The person is this role will ultimately be responsible for working with a team of others to bring new curricula and products to market and ensuring that success metrics are achieved. This is an individual contributor role without any direct reports Responsibilities Evaluate market trends, the competitive product/curricula landscape, insights from adjacent markets, current events and feedback from Instructors and participants to develop and manage the Mental Health First Aid Adult and Youth product strategies and roadmaps Serve as a subject matter expert on diversity, equity and inclusion considerations for adult and youth learners from a broad range of cultural heritages, socioeconomic backgrounds, genders, ages, locations, abilities and orientations Assist in the prioritization of items in the product/curricula backlog to meet market demands Leverage focus groups and design training pilots to evaluate new instructional materials and technical workflows to ensure that all learners feel represented in MHFA curricula Build a product vision and communicate that vision to team, peers, and stakeholders. Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform product direction and decisions. Facilitate purposeful feedback gathering initiatives with internal and external audiences to inform product priorities. Coordinate launch of new products and features with internal and external teams Identify and manage partnership opportunities to expand the MHFA curricula portfolio and its market reach Write quarterly release notes Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 7 years of experience as a product manager focusing on education, training or content related products 3 years of experience driving diversity and inclusion initiatives pertaining to content or curriculum development Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Background in mental or behavioral health
