What You Will Be Doing

As an engineering manager on our team, you will be responsible for helping scale our platform team. This will involve working closely with engineering leadership to help define the roadmap and the future of the platform.

Responsibilities

• Support technical leads in high-level architecture design
• Requirements scoping
• Engage in code review, provide feedback to developers, and maintain high standards
• Research and evaluate technologies that can improve processes and velocity
• Review and optimize onboarding processes, documentation, and effectiveness.
• Help build a strong team by being actively involved with leading key recruitment efforts
  What You Need for this Position
  
  Must Have
  
  • 7+ years of hands-on full-stack or frontend development experience
  • 2+ years of software engineering team management experience
  • React.js or Vue.js experience
  • Ember.js experience (or desire to learn)
  • AWS or GCP
  • Docker and/or Kubernetes
    Nice To Have
    
    • Bachelor's degree in CS or related field
    • Python
    • Education Sector, Tech start-up, or SaaS experience
