  • The candidate will serve as a business analyst and subject matter expert on the USCIS WARM project engagement. Identifying and recommending client business process improvements.
  • Facilitating and managing software development life cycle activities, such as requirements sessions and developing requirements in an agile format.
  • Coordinating the user acceptance testing process.
  • Communicating and/or translating business challenges to IT and assist in developing solutions.
  • Serving as liaison between various stakeholder groups and other third-party vendors.
  • Creating artifacts and formal deliverables relative to project initiatives.
  • Contributing to project work plans, and other formal project management deliverables relative to project initiatives.
  • Preparing other written reports and materials for clients. Identifying, documenting, resolving and/or escalating risks, issues, and problems to the appropriate levels of both program management and client management. Ensuring documents developed are free of typographical, grammatical and other errors, and are completed to meet established milestones and timeframes.
  • Providing excellent customer service, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
  • Providing excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Working with USCIS technologies to track agile practices and provide reports to USCIS stakeholders. This would include JIRA, GitHub, and SharePoint. QualificationsThe following skills/experience/knowledge are required to be considered for this role:
    • Due to our contractual requirements, to be eligible for this role, you must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated at time of hire.
    • Bachelors degree or higher
    • Ability to obtain Public Trust and must be a US Citizen
    • Experience with R
    • Experience provide briefings to leadership, creating reports and documentation on demand, ensuring deliverable compliance, and interfacing between customer organization and team members
    • Experience providing operational management of projects
    • Familair with creating work plans/schedule, technical project plans, project, and task order level reporting
    • Experience attending customer meetings and serving as a client liaison
    • Has coordinated development of project deliverables and monthly reports including technical status, management performance, and financial projections
    • Displays effective time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet schedules and deadlines, to multi-task, to plan, organize and prioritize work assignments and pay close attention to detail The following skills/experience/knowledge are preferred to be considered for this role:
      • Advanced in Microsoft Excel, specifically Macro development.
      • Work with Agile/DevOps project teams and processes
      • Conduct regular Agile Ceremonies such as Daily standups, SCRUMs and/or checkpoints to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding the IT projects
      • Knowledge of Python, and SAS.
      • Familiarity with AWS, AZURE, Google Cloud Services, and other Cloud environments
      • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps practices and ITIL processes
      • Project Management Certifications (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
      • Certified SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) certification, or similar
      • A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience writing technical documentation.
      • Experience with documenting technical artifacts in support of the Technical teams.
      • Extensive experience working with technical staff to document artifacts used by the clients such as user guides, readme files, and more.
      • Experience developing a range of products, including technical reports, training materials, regulatory and policy documents, engineering documents, multimedia content, and more.
      • Meticulous and detail-oriented approach to work products.
      • Ability to maintain high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines.
      • Ability to positively engage with various team members, leadership and management including development teams, end users and federal leadership.
      • Exceptional people, writing, and communication skills, with openness to ideas and feedback from others.
      • Basic proficiency in with multiple technologies including JIRA, SharePoint and MSOffice.
      • General understanding of product management, design, engineering, and user research, and how they interact.
      • Serve as part of the project management team as well as the overall team supporter.
      • Ability to operate at both a tactical and strategic level: equal parts doer and big-picture thinker.
